WISER is committed to the remediation of the identified gap by providing uniquely designed multi-sectorial Africa-centric curriculum with an international flavor and provide a veritable Information Technology driven academic environment for training and research. The curriculum will be addressed to both regional and nation-specific scenarios of security and development challenges on the continent, while situating them in the global context, in order to evolve formidable and comprehensive solutions. The institute understands the criticality and importance of international collaboration in addressing the characteristically fast-paced evolving security.

WISER will be delivering periodically scheduled Masterclass courses on thematic areas of security governance strategy and development, as well as those of peace and conflict, preventing and countering violent extremism themes. Further, WISER will expand its activities through the following go-alone or partnership programmes:
